About Me

My photo
klb
I studied philosophy and literature at Stanford in the Humanities Honors program in the late '70s. I studied acting and directing at Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison in the early '80s, then moved to NYC where I was an actress and then an opera singer. I love science, music, art, and not just appreciating these things but DOING them! I love sports, especially those that take me out into beautiful mother nature, so hiking, skiing, sledding, canoeing, walking, you name it. As someone who identifies primarily with Daoist philosophy, I am all about living in harmony with nature. That means so many different things, all of them good. People with many jobs, like Clint Eastwood who writes, directs, acts, plays jazz and holds political office.
